Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Assist  Communications Manager with regards to plan, develop, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of annual advertising and social investment programs, e.g. Chevron Enjoy Science project,  through all types of  media (TV, Radio, Print, Out-of-Home and online channels) to leverage Chevron brand awareness and perception and create benign reputation of Chevron among the public.  
  • Assist Communications Manager with regards to plan, develop and implement Public Relations and media relation plan through various kinds of activities such as press conference, focus group interview, news release, photo release, article pitching and others.
  • Provide communications consultancy and support to many critical projects/events both for internal and external stakeholders
  • Enhance relationship with energy/industry and CSR reporters and editors both at national and local levels by various activities e.g.  media visit, press tour, regular gathering and thank press events.
  • Facilitate brand awareness and perception surveys of general public to evaluate the success of advertising and social investment campaigns.
  • Be a key member in dealing with media for issue and crisis management. Also take part as a public affair officer in AEMT
  • Assist Communications manager in managing communications –related budget.
Required Qualifications:

  • Education background should be at least Bachelor degree in social science or business administration.
  • Have at least  10-15 years working experiences in communications areas and preferably in energy business
  • Must be excellent in external communications including advertising, PR, media relation and crisis communication
  • Well understand the sensitivity of handling communications through media channels to ensure the effectiveness of communications.
  • Have self-management skills such as planning, time management, strategic thinking and high capability for trouble shooting
  • Fluent spoken and written in both Thai and English.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and specific skills to maintain good relationship with in/out stakeholders, creativity skill, teamwork skills etc.
  • Fluent command in computer skills in Microsoft Office program i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point program.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good knowledge of E&P industry and Chevron business
  • Basic skill in graphic design is a plus.
