Chevron Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Services / Facilities Management Coordinator to join the Transition and Materials Management team. This is a residential role based in Onslow and reporting to the Field Services Superintendent. This permanent role will support the provision and oversight of facilities maintenance, waste management, field services infrastructure, janitorial services, light vehicle fleet management, and personnel transportation services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily management, coordination and operations of facilities maintenance contractor and waste management contractor
  • Oversee daily work practices and provide functional guidance to contractor staff (including outsourced contractors) including but not limited to facilities management civils, waste, property management, light vehicles and local businesses
  • Oversee contractor performance in managing, scheduling and planning facilities and maintenance of buildings and utilities
  • Monitor asset and infrastructure maintenance and repair work requests submitted through maintenance management system
  • Point of contact for all occupants of the buildings and field services customers
  • Coordinate field maintenance of fencing, civils and road surfacing
  • Coordinate requirements of internal fit out works and re-furnishing, ensuring consistency with company and industry guidelines and standards including relevant safety and operational compliance
  • Establish and monitor both leading and lagging key performance indicators of third party service provider and take appropriate actions to effect positive results
  • Identify and implement reliability and efficiency initiatives within field services
  • Advise, promote and monitor safe working practices of service providers including inductions, security, monitoring of work practices and occupational health and safety related procedures
  • Actively participate in the contractor health environment safety management system
  • Commitment to health, environment and safety and Chevron best practices
Key skills and experience required:

  • Building and facility management experience
  • Previous facilities maintenance and support services experience
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management at an operational level
  • Trade qualification and background
  • Demonstrated site based experience (at least 5 years)
  • Significant experience working in field services environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills in engaging various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and build key relationships that contribute to high-class business results
  • Demonstrated commitment to Chevron’s values of integrity, partnership and trust and achieving and incident and injury free workplace
